What You Will Find

A safe, paced approach

You don’t have to force yourself to “push through” or relive everything to heal. We can work at a pace that feels tolerable and safe, building stability first and strengthening change step by step.

A rooted, paced approach for lasting change. I take a compassionate, structured approach that supports mental, emotional, and physical healing—especially when your distress feels “stuck” in patterns you’ve tried to change with willpower alone.

Somatic Approaches for Nervous System Regulation

Because stress and trauma don’t only live in thoughts—they also show up in the body—therapy includes somatic, body-based regulation skills. Together we learn to notice early signals (e.g., tension, breath changes, fatigue, shutdown, overwhelm) and support your nervous system to return toward steadiness.

Schema Therapy Structure: Understanding your Patterns and Modes

Schema therapy helps you identify long-standing relational and self-beliefs—schemas—and the emotional states that can take over under stress—modes.
We explore how these patterns developed (often through earlier attachment experiences) and how they affect relationships, coping styles, and self-worth today. Then we work toward practical, compassionate change.

Consent and Titration (you stay in choice)

We prioritise informed consent, pacing, and choice. You’re always invited to stay within your capacity. If something feels too intense, we slow down, regulate, and return to what feels safe—rather than pushing for emotional intensity or detailed recall.

What you can expect to learn (skills + insights)

By the end of our work together, you’ll build both insight and regulation skills—so triggers don’t have to control your reactions. You may learn to:

  • recognize when a schema mode is starting to take over

  • calm your body-level stress response sooner

  • communicate needs and boundaries more clearly

  • interrupt recurring cycles (in relationships, work, and self-criticism)

  • recover more effectively after conflict or overwhelm

Note: Restrictions / Safety

Some presentations require
immediate higher level of care (e.g., acute suicidality, active psychosis, or severe personality disorder presentations). If this is relevant, I will help you find appropriate urgent support.
